Brenda Naylor
Sculptor, figure and fashion artist, author, model, publisher...originally trained at St. Martin’s School of Art, Brenda Naylor’s career began in haute couture, soon becoming assistant to Sir Norman Hartnell, royal dress designer, for whom she worked for ten years. A chance commission started her sculpture career. The sculptures are cast in bronze using the traditional lost-wax process and, unusually, she does practically all the finishing and chasing herself at the foundry. Her work is to be found in private collections all over the UK, in Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan and the USA.
