ACT is the registered charity for Cambridge University Hospitals, which includes Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Hospital. Registered charity number: 1048868.
ACT raises additional funds to help make a difference for patients (like Barbara pictured top) at the hospitals and help save lives.
Charitable donations have bought extra high-tech equipment, paid for additional specialist staff, contributed to environmental enhancements and funded research to improve the understanding of conditions and find possible cures for patients in Cambridge and around the world.
ACT manages the charitable funds in an effective way and aims to invest and disburse money successfully, ensuring that funds are used for the purposes for which they are raised.
